Lessons in Geometry pays homage to the legends that defined the punk-rock subculture. The sculptural cups, composed of 100% tartan wool were inspired by iconic designers, Jean Paul Gaultier for Madonna (circa its debut in 1990), and Vivienne Westwood’s quintessential tartan, used throughout her career as an act of subversion against the British Government. The bottoms are made of 100% cotton chambray and were used to emphasize rebellion a la Pink Floyd’s anti-authority music video for “Another Brick in the Wall.”
